Review by hotel critic
At Riad Les Jardins De Merzouga, I found a tranquil oasis that perfectly blends comfort with authentic Moroccan charm, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Sahara Desert. Upon my arrival, the incredibly hospitable staff greeted us with warm Moroccan tea and pastries, making us feel like cherished guests rather than mere patrons. Our spacious room, adorned with traditional decor and modern amenities, offered an unobstructed view of the dunes, which was nothing short of magical. I particularly enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop terrace, where we savored delicious local cuisine while overlooking both the oasis and the serene desert landscape. The real highlight of our stay was the thoughtfully organized walking tour through the dunes with a local guide, which allowed us to connect with the Sahara's beauty intimately and sustainably. Riad Les Jardins De Merzouga truly encapsulated the essence of Berber hospitality, ensuring that every moment was dedicated to understanding and appreciating the rich culture and stunning natural beauty of the region. I can't recommend this gem enough for anyone seeking an authentic escape into the heart of Morocco's desert.
